Nomination Academy
The Nomination Academy is comprised of long serving members of the television and film industry. The members include;
Prof. Kimani Njogu
Chairman of the Kalasha Nomination Academy, He is the C.E.O of Twaweza Communications. He was previously Associate Professor of African languages and literatures at Kenyatta University. He has published many books and articles on Kiswahili; linguistics; radio; television; and theater in East and Central Africa; poetry; and governance.
Rosemary Kowuor
As a communication lecturer at Daystar University, She has practical experience in marketing, research, teaching and broadcast production. Her areas of specialization include Video camera operations, Screen writing, Audio/video editing, Radio broadcasting techniques, Film marketing/Management, and entrepreneurship in the arts.
Wambui Kiai
She is a Lecturer at University of Nairobi and Director of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She has vast training and research experience in the areas of HIV/AIDS.
Patricia Mbatia
She is known for her excellent Public Relations skills as well as being a PR consultant at ExpMomentum.
Muhammad Suleiman
She is MNET’s production manager for all of East Africa and Zambia. She is involved in promoting local content on channels nationally and internationally.
Kimburi Ndungu
He is a retired lecturer from the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication. Mr. Kimburi has taught production for more than two decades and served as the head of the Film Training Department at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication between 2006 and 2008.

Muhammad Suleiman
He is the Marketing Manager of the Nu-Metro Cinemas which is the main cinema complex in Kenya having branches in all over. He has also partnered with KFC and Africa Sinema Club in promoting the Kenya film industry by premiering Kenyan movies once a month in Nu-Metro Cinemas.
Dr. Levi Obonyo
Lecturer at Daystar University, He is also in the Head Of Department (H.O.D) of Communication. He has also served as a council member in the Media Council of Kenya.
